Yeah, it seems that way on me too sometimes. I deal with it two ways: 1. I use very contrasting colors so they don’t muddy together. 2. I mix in some matte or satin finish shadows too – usually the darker colors. Like, I’ll use shimmery shadows for everything but the crease, then I use a dark matte color for the outer lid and crease.

I find that shimmer-y shadows sometimes come out looking messy on me. Any suggestions?

I used one of my MAC blush brushes (forget which number…I’ll look when I get home). She probably applied too much!

very pretty! what brush did you apply Pop Diamond with? The SA used a kabuki brush on me,but we both agreed,it was a gold frosted mess on me..looks soft on you =D
