Nails: Patriotic for 4th of July

Here’s my 4th of July Konadicure. It’s pretty simple, and not perfect by any means. I am awe-inspired by some of my favorite nail bloggers: Scrangie, All-Laquered Up, Steph’s Closet, and NailPhile. But I had about 30 min before I wanted to go to bed, and this is what I came up with. Happy 4th of July!!!

I used OPI Bride’s Bouquet as a base color (3 coats for opacity) and Konad Plate m3 with Konad red and blue special polish.

What was your 4th of July manicure/pedicure??

I gave myself a decidedly un-patriotic pedicure using OPI Eiffel For This Color. My fingernails were bare, as per usual! (I’m a nurse, so I rarely paint my nails. The polish fades and chips too easily with all the handwashing and judicious use of hand sanitizer.)

I totally know what you mean about the chipping. My nails are short because they’re so weak and they split and break so easily. So one shower, and they’re already chipping on me. Ah well, it just gives me an excuse to do my nails every 2-3 days…hence I need more nail polish colors! ;-)
