Recently Chanel released 3 limited edition polishes. Black Velvet was advertised as a matte, but from swatches on other blogs, it looked very velvet and squishy-like. So I thought I would give it a try. It did NOT play nice with the flaws on my nails, so I did not take pictures of it on its own. So of course I layered it with the other (much more coveted) limited edition Chanel Illusion D’Or. It’s a golden glitter top coat with sparce large pieces of bule glitter thrown in. It’s gorgeous. Definitely for layering, though.
Can you see the little blue flakes? There are some more pics below that show it better – keep reading! It’s pretty, and I should try layering it over some other colors too. Sorry for the frazzle (lack of clean-up around the edges and cuticles). This wasn’t my best work by any means :-) See some more pictures!!

Best. Nail. Polish. EVER!
I don’t think anything will replace my set. It was worth the money, I’ll say that.
