Look: Shady Lady Amazing!

The last time I did a haul at Sephora, I came across this small square palette. It’s called the Shady Lady palette. Now, if you know me, you know that I’m somewhat of a makeup snob. I stick to brands I know and rarely branch out. Something compelled me to swatch these beauties, and they are so buttery soft, so well pigmented, *sigh* I just had to buy them. It was a palette, and around $30, so I felt it was a score. I’ve used every color and never looked back :-)

I’ve used this palette so many times, and I love the color variety! This is the original palette, but it looks like Volume 2 is out now at Sephora. If you’re looking for an awesome quick-look-and-go palette, this does NOT disappoint. And this is coming from me, and I’m verrrrrry particular about my shadows :-)

Now on to the look. This is one of a few I’ve made with this lovely palette. It was back in January, so I’m still dressed for cold weather :-)

I’ve been looking all over for that theBalm ShadyLady palette, but no one offers it anymore. :( I’ve even tried eBay. Have you seen it available anywhere online where I might get my hands on it? I really love your look, and now I want it even more. ;)

    Hi Shamini,

Aw I’m happy you like the look, but I’m sad you can’t find it. So sorry Vol. 1 is sold out :-( Keep an eye on ebay because you never know.

Hi, you’ve got an interesting blog.

I have this same palette and Vol. 2 as well. The colors from both palettes are gorgeous. I have tried out several looks with Vol. 1, but I’d use a light hand while applying the shadows.

I like this brown-bronzy look you did using the brown shades from the palette.

I just saw the Vol. 2 on Sephora. I think I need that one!
