Look: Don’t Scare the Newbies

The day I did this look was the first day of a week-long training that makes me want to pull my hair out. Seriously, it’s way below me, but they pay me to go, so I go. Unfortunately for them, I wear my thoughts on my face…and I really can’t hide how I feel. Apparently I’m hilarious to sit across from because I constantly roll my eyes or make faces when I don’t approve which makes others who know me laugh like crazy! It’s pretty subconscious, and something I need to work on for sure!

Anyway, so being the first day of a training, I figured I wouldn’t go OTT with the color, so as not to scare the newbies who don’t wear makeup (but SOOOO SHOULD!). It’s pretty much the same as my look with the glasses, but sleeker. Amazing what some liner on the waterline will do :-)

Look: Smoke in Vegas Casinos

This past weekend we went to Vegas for our end of the season bowling tournament. I got ready for the whole day/night in the morning, and I went for a smokey eyeshadow look. Casinos are usually filled with smoke, so smokey eyes is appropriate right? LOL! I wore a dress out that night – the same one I wore to my students’ graduation. Although I wore just a white t-shirt to bowl in for the morning (which is when I took these pictures). It’s a different look for this dress, and I kinda liked it with my new hair cut. Husband liked it too ;-)

Look: Light Smokeys

In this look, the eyes aren’t that enticing. Well, it’s another look using Smoke & Diamonds (which according to Temptalia, you won’t have to wait too much longer to get your hands on if you missed it the first time around). But the lips – I think I found a very unique color! Chantecaille Luna lipstick is a color I’ve never seen before. It really is like a medium gray shade, and I find it quite stunning. It’s dark and kinda vampy too!

Look: Sophisticated Silvers

I had to go to a major training the day I wore this look, so I needed something semi-sophisticated, not too OTT, but not too nude. I was reminded how much I really like this lipgloss too!

Look: Chantecaille Smokey Eyes

This color gray is buttery soft and a true dark gray. It doesn’t have the blue-ish undertones like my MAC gray shadows do. Here’s a truly smokey look :-) Oh, and sorry about the one pesky hair that’s in all the photos. Try to ignore it hehe.

Look: Other e/s Experiment

I got some different kinds of eyeshadows and decided to put them together and see what came out of it…that’s 5 different brands on my eyes! Wow!

**Edit** I have since returned the Chantecaille Sel and Guerlain Holy Smoke…they were very expensive, and there were other things I wanted to have more, so I compromised with myself by exchanging. They were great shadows and what really stood out was their texture…but they just didn’t give me the same kind of excitement as my new lippies do :-)
