Look: NARS Does Neutrals

Day 6 of Neutrals Week here at Coloruza. This one was a little bit of a stretch…I have the 6-color NARS Sephora Exclusive Palette, so I used colors out of there. I don’t have any other NARS colors that aren’t super bright. This look came out only ok. I had to change shirts like 3 times because nothing I wore looked like it matched the makeup for this look. Ah well, here you go!

For this look I used:

Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Bare Study PP (base), NARS Sephora Exclusive Palette: Bohemian Gold II (inner lid), Ondine (middle lid), Night Flight (outer lid & crease), Himalayas (highlight), Bobbi Brown Black Mauve Shimmer Ink (liner), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
Cheeks: NARS Orgasm Blush
Lips: Guerlain Beige Rose 41 lipliner + Nice to be Nice lipglass

lol…i’ve certainly changed shirts to better match my makeup….which do you do first: your makeup or choose your outfit?

most of the time i just do something to compliment what i have on, but sometimes i decide that i want to wear teal or orange or some other bright color on my eyes and then have to “find” something to wear that goes with it. ;)

I always get dressed before I do my makeup so that I do something that matches. But very often (esp. after I buy new products), I’ll have in mind what I want to do for my makeup and I’ll try to pick out clothes that will go with it, so it’s like reverse planning :-) I find that I need a lot more shirt colors!
