Look: Stila Does Neutrals

This look begins a week of softer, more neutral shades for the eyes. So if neutral colors are for you, stay tuned, because I have some more coming your way (well, they’re definitely neutral and more natural for me!). For this look, I tried out using Strayin’ lipstick from the HK collection. I put some Nice Kitty lipglass over it and it was like HELLOOOOO LIPS! Too bright. So I wiped it off and just went with Nice Kitty straight up. I thought it looked better. I’m including both sets of pictures anyway.
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Fresco Rose PP (base), Stila Pastel Palette, Rave Pearglide liner, Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Tippy Beauty Powder Blush
- Lips: Strayin’ lipstick + Nice Kitty lipglass….then just Nice Kitty lipglass

Look: Working for MAC Day 2 - Hello Kitty Stately Black

This is the same look that I posted yesterday, only without the ribbons in my hair, and with #3 lashes. I won’t be posting anything for Day 3 because I did exactly the same thing as this one.
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Blackground PP (base), Stately Black (all over lid to above crease & lower lashline), Yogurt (upper lid & highlight), Phone Number Eyekohl, Smooth Blue Technakohl (waterline), #3 lashes
- Cheeks: Tippy Beauty Powder Blush
- Lips: Chanel Pink Praline lipliner, Fashion Mews lipstick, Pretty Plush Plushglass

Look: Working for MAC - Day 1 Hello Kitty Stately Black

Working for the MAC event was a trip. It was some of the hardest work I’ve ever done…probably because most of it was not intellecutal like I’m used to. I was more walking around and standing around etc. I’ve already posted about my first day there, and the other two days were similar (probably a little worse though). Well when you work there for events, they each do one of the “looks” from MAC that incorporates the new stuff. I modified the look just slightly because *gasp* I didn’t have every single thing. I did the Stately Black look from Wild Kitty. We also had to tie some ribbons in our hair. Gotta love those fake lashes :-)
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Blackground PP (base), Stately Black (all over lid to above crease & lower lashline), Yogurt (upper lid & highlight), Phone Number Eyekohl, Smooth Blue Technakohl (waterline) #4 lashes

Look: Bold RED Lips with Black Gloss

In my opinion, wearing red (and I mean RED) lipstick all day long is incredibly difficult. After only an hour, I’m pressing my lips together hoping that it’s not clumping or fading or bleeding, etc. Even with how hard it is, I still attempt to pull it off from time to time. This is quite a bold look for me, and instead of wearing a red gloss, I opted for a black (yes, black) gloss! Newly launched by Lancome is it’s Piha Black Lipgloss - it’s black with silver sparkles in it, and it’s pretty sheer. No, it’s not just for Halloween. It really deepened up the lipstick color. I thought the eyes turned out a little too dark and smokey, but it was ok because after lunch, I switched so just some neutral lipgloss haha! Ah well, I tried!
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPP (primer), Cash Flow Paint Pot (base), Flip (inner lid), Museum Bronze Pigment (middle and outer lid), Typographic (crease), Motif (highlight), Black Karat Kohl Power eyepencil, Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Lancome Shimmer Mandarin Sky blush
- Lips: BE Lip Rever-Upper (primer), Brick lip pencil, Viva Glam I lipstick, Lancome Piha Black lipgloss

MAC Cosmetics Creamteam Promo Pics

The next MAC launch is almost here - MAC Creamteam (Cremeteam)! It contains lip products only - all with a creamy finish. It launches on February 5, 2009 in the US. Believe it or not, the lavendar lipstick has HOT written all over it and there are many people lemming over it. I have NO idea how to wear it, but people claim it can be done. This will probably be the first launch that I will attempt to swatch and bring to my blog :-) I have no idea what I’m getting from this collection actually…these are only computer generated promo photos, so I’ll have to wait and see the real thing before I make my choices. A few of the lipsticks and all of the lip liners are re-releases (so obviously I have them already haha).

Kissable Red Christmas Lips c/o Chanel

I did a neutral eyes with dark lips combo for Christmas Day. I usually hate doing red lips because while I know they look stellar, they only seem to look that way for maybe an hour, then it either fades or bleeds or leaves that aweful ring around my lips, etc. This one seemed to do really well though, and I was happy with how much it dressed up my overall look.
I used Chanel lipstick in Perplex and Chanel Glossimer in Red Shine to top it off.
