Look: NARS Sephora Exclusive Eyeshadow Palette
Posted by Heather | Filed under Gold, NARS, Red/Maroon
It’s hard to beat the smooth, velvety texture of NARS eye shadows. Their color payoff is awesome and they blend rather nicely. I tend to use MAC’s 224 brush with them because they’re so pigmented that I don’t want to overdo it. Anyway, so I got this Sephora exclusive palette (on sale now for $45 and for 6 shadows, that’s a good deal). I know there are many more look possibilities, so I’m going to hold off on a full review. But the colors are all really shimmery with a little iridescence. I’m also lovin’ this lipgloss! It’s really smooth, and more sheer than it seems. I was really happy with this overall look :-)
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPP, Bare Study Paint Pot, NARS Sephor Exclusive Eyeshadow Palette: Himalayas (inner corner), Bohemian Gold II (middle lid), Ondine (outer lid), Surabaya II (crease), Kilimanjaro I (brow highlight) and a touch of MAC Star Violet in the crease. I used MAC Kohl Power eyepencil in Raven to line the upper lashline and waterline, and BE Buxom Mascara to finish.
- Cheeks: NARS Love Joy blush and NARS Albatross blush to highlight
- Lips: NARS lipgloss in Dolce Vita

(Sorry for the partial dates at the bottom of the picture - I still have to figure out how to remove that after cropping. Oh, and yes, these were taken in my car before work haha.)
