Look: Blue and White Smokey Eyes
Posted by Heather | Filed under Blue, MAC, Smokey, White
Tonight I’m off to a dinner party for my best friend who’s in town from New York for a little while. This is the look I’m wearing. It looks a little better in person than it comes out in the pictures - it’s got more dimension than it shows. I’ll admit it’s a little OTT, but that’s just me :-) Anyway, the lips were inspired by a recent post from Temptalia where she shows lots of lip pictures, and it reminded me how much I love this lipstick!
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPP as a primer and Delft Paint Pot as a base. Vellum on the inner lid, Crystal Avalanche on the middle center lid, Climate Blue on the upper part of the middle lid, Deep Truth in the outer crease, a touch of Freshwater in the crease, and Solar White to highlight the brow. For liner I used Penultimate liner on the upper lashline, UD 24/7 in Deviant on the lower lashline, and Mystery Kohl Power on my waterline. Finished the eye with Buxom Lash Mascara.
- Cheeks: Pleasantry Mineralize Blush and Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Orchid Mosaic
- Lips: Sci-Fidelity lipstick topped with Soft & Slow lipglass

Thanks, Melissa! I agree that it usually does look better in person.
