Look: MAC Holiday ’08 Warm Eyes Palette

Up until this past holiday season, I was not a pre-assembled palette kind of girl - eyes or lips. But I got sucked in by several, and now I’m noticing a lot that I wouldn’t mind having! So it started with the MAC Holiday 2008 collection. I got 3 of the 4 six-shadow eye palettes that they had, excluding the “smokey eyes” one since I for SURE have colors that will do the same thing. This is a look I did with the Warm Eyes palette. It’s very interesting because it has a dark green color as well as a cranberry type color…x-mas? So I was hesitant to put it all together, but actually really happy with how it came out!
Oh, and the other interesting fact - in this palette the cranberry color is called Grand Entrance, and MAC has already come out with a color called Grand Entrance which was an LE frosty light pink highlighter color.
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPP (primer), Painterly Paint Pot (base), MAC Warm Eyes Palette Holiday ’08: Well Spiced (inner lid), Warm Suede (middle lid), Grand Entrance (outer lid), Real Drama (crease), Sweet Joy (highlight), YSL Green Shimmer Liquid Liner, Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Lancome Shimmer blush in Mandarin Sky
- Lips: Calvin Klein Delicious Pout Lipgloss in Pastel Gold
