Look: Bang-On Blue!

Many people find it difficult to wear blue eyeshadow without looking like Mimi from the Drew Carry show. I think if it’s worn well, anyone can pull it off. Depending on your skin tone, you can bring it out smokey like this look or just add a small bit to the lid just for a tint. Blue comes in so many shades which makes it an amazing color family to work with. In this look I tried (really hard) to bring out the royal blue shade to match my shirt, but I don’t feel I was that successful - it’s too silvery. Using Contrast in the crease darkened it up a little, but it’s still one of my favorite looks. Enjoy!

For this look I used:

Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Delft PP (base), Fade (inner lid), Bang-on Blue (middle lid), Submarine (outer/upper lid), Contrast (crease), Vellum (upper lid to blend), Rose Blanc (highlight), Feline Kohl Power (upper lashline & waterline), UD 24/7 Deviant (lower lashline), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
Cheeks: NARS Outlaw blush + Petticoat MSF
Lips: Jubilee lipstick + YSL Golden Gloss #11
