Look: Sugarsweet Inspiration
Posted by Heather | Filed under Gold, Looks, MAC, Pink, Purple
Inspired by a very bright and colorful by Temptalia, I tried to re-create it. Didn’t come out quite the same, but part of my problem was that I accidentally used Gorgeous Gold instead of Goldmine (too early in the morning I guess). It still came out ok, but I think I need to back off the pinks and purples a little. So I’ll be looking for some non-pink inspirations next. :-)
Oh, and I recently discovered Make-Up Alley FOTD board. AWESOME (Thanks Lynn!!!)! I posted my first look there - the Platinum Peacock one. *Edit* I’ve been posting one per day…gotta get on that watermarking so I can maybe get some more traffic over here. People seemed to like it! I posted under hkaruza but I think I’ll typically post under coloruza in a few weeks. :-)
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Fresco Rose PP (base), Gorgeous Gold + Goldmine (inner lid), Dear Cupcake (middle lid), Stars ‘N Rockets (outer & upper lid & over crease color), Shadowy Lady (crease), Femme-Fi (highlight), UD 24/7 Ransom (lower lashline & waterline), Fab Orchid (upper lashline), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Moon River Blush Duo
- Lips: Lollipop Loving l/s + Chanel Tangerine Dream Aqualumier l/g

Nice job! I often try to recreate Christine’s looks, and I can never succeed like she does lol.

I agree…man I feel like I’ve been using pink everyday. Gotta get out some different colors :-)
