Look: Chanel Iridescent Effects Eyes In Plein Soleil Quad

*Sigh* I really wanted to like this quad. It just wasn’t anything special, and sadly had to make a trip back to Nordies. The consistency was meh and the colors weren’t very impressive. It was nothing I couldn’t make with what I already had. It’s too bad too, because I was all set to be in love with every LE Chanel Quad they debuted. Ah well, here’s what came out of it :-) I mean, it’s pretty and all, but it’s just so…brown? Oh, I wore it with my suit…which I wore because I had to go to the district office with the Principal and VP to order new Math textbooks for next year. It was exciting! :-)
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Bare Study (base), Chanel Iridescent Effects Plein Soleil Quad, Raven Kohl Power, Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Earth to Earth Mineralized Blush Duo
- Lips: Guerlain Beige Rose 41 Lipliner + YSL Rouge Pure Shine #19

April 2nd, 2009 at 5:13 AMI think it’s gorgeous! I bought this and really like it,but my eyes are bluish green and these colors really make my eyes pop..and I tend to buy up every brown/bronze/copper shade known to man..er,woman..

Thanks - yeah it’s pretty, but didn’t warrant the money I spent on it, not for me at least. I can’t see myself reaching for it over and over again, you know? I’m so happy it works for you though! Care to send a FOTD using it???

ok,so I took a few pics of me wearing the Chanel quad..you know what? it s*cks..I’m returning tomorrow..it was so pretty til you take a pic and all I saw was glitter*gasp*..and I actually wore this out..what a hot mess I must have looked..heehee
