Here are my school colors - for the school I work at AND my college alma matter! BLUE & GOLD

Look: That Summer Glow

This look was for a Memorial Day BBQ at my mother-in-law’s. I went for sunset colors and golden tones in this look. I also started using Sun Rush Lusterdrops - I mix one small drop in with my foundation, then apply over my whole face. So if I seem to look a little shiny, I’m not, it’s the “glow”. :-)
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Cash Flow PP (base), Bright Future (inner & middle lid), Peppier (middle lid & crease), red side of Danger Zone (upper crease), Bronze (outer “V”), Soft Force (highlight), Blacktrack Fluidline (upper lashline), UD 24/7 Lucky (lower lashline & waterline), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: I mixed some Sun Rush Lusterdrops into my foundation and used Eversun BPB
- Lips: Sunsational l/s + Gold Rebel lipglass

Look: Light Smokeys

In this look, the eyes aren’t that enticing. Well, it’s another look using Smoke & Diamonds (which according to Temptalia, you won’t have to wait too much longer to get your hands on if you missed it the first time around). But the lips - I think I found a very unique color! Chantecaille Luna lipstick is a color I’ve never seen before. It really is like a medium gray shade, and I find it quite stunning. It’s dark and kinda vampy too!

Nails: Pink with Bow Ties Konadicure

For this week’s Konadicure, I used Color Club’s Electro Candy as a base and Konad plate M56 with black pearl Konad special polish. While I was in Hawaii, I went shopping with my mom and we came across a kiosk that sold Konad stuff!! I was soooo excited that we spent probably an hour there talking to the nicest lady: Deborah Campbell, owner of Island Nail & Body Art in Kapaa, HI. Look: Style Warriors Purple Combo

Well, I used the purple side of Style Warriors for this look. It came out like another purple smokey eye I did a while back. I like how the color gets more gray as it goes to the outer eye. The lip look came out on the pink side…probably because Fashion Mews is like a light lavender, almost pinkish and F&F definitely has some pink in it. I know Rachael is probably not a fan of the lippie, but I like how it complements the smoked out purples. What are your thoughts? What lip color/combo would you have gone with?

Look: Sophisticated Silvers

I had to go to a major training the day I wore this look, so I needed something semi-sophisticated, not too OTT, but not too nude. I was reminded how much I really like this lipgloss too!

Nails: Hawaii Konadicure

I bought Konad plate M29 with lots of Hawaiian stamps on it. Yep, specifically for my trip to Hawaii because when else would I really wear it, right? Good thing I remembered 1. to take it with me, and 2. to actually use it while I was there. I only stamped a few nails with the key symbols, but it came out cute enough…worth sharing. :-) This is Essie Sag Harbor with Konad special white polish.
Look: Solar Bits

Within the Style Warriors launch, there was the reappearance of Solar Bits. The first time they made their debut was with Neo Sci-Fi last year, and there were 4. I picked up Black Ore and Scatterrays that time. This time, the other two were re-released, so I got those, and created this look with them. I used the three gold ones, and the fall out wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. The effect they make is awesome though - like foiling! I thought it was gorgeous. The lipstick…I loved the way it came together before I put my brown jacket on, but after…I think it was a little too light. Thoughts?

Look: For the Flight Home

I know you’re probably super-duper tired of me forgetting the specific breakdown for my looks lately…I blame my “vacation” which made me unfocused. So I apologize for that! I DO know that I used Expensive Pink in the middle, probably Typographic on the outer lid & crease. On the lips was Guerlain Matte Lipgloss #2. This was the look I did for our long flight back to the mainland where we watched “Confessions of a Shopaholoic” which was great! I’m totally like her…except only with makeup haha! :-)
