Nails: Vintage Misa - Dangerous Sapphire
Posted by Heather | Filed under Misa, Nails
Every vintage Misa I own is thanks to a wonderful lady named Carly (hotmetalchicky) in the UK ! I found her on Ebay, and this time it wasn’t so evil. She had polishes that were at the top of my wish list for sale, and I jumped at the chance!! We became MUA friends and even did a little swap :-) Take a look at this beauty.
See that subtle pink shimmer? It barely translates to the nail, but it’s there. What a unique blue color! It’s dusty, nearly teal, and stunning!
See how the bottle cap is white? I love that it looks different. And the name of the polish is on the back, not the bottom. You have to see more pictures!

July 4th, 2010 at 10:24 AMThis is absolutely gorgeous! I love these kinds of blues. I wish Misa came out with more colors. I also wish that someday they could re-release some of their old colors, like this one!

I wish Misa was a more readily available brand. Their formula has never let me down, and they have many unique colors. I recently got my hands on Embroidered Emerald (an exact dupe for Vanishing Venus and UD Bruise, btw) and it is my new favorite duochrome.
Have a beautiful day!

July 5th, 2010 at 4:28 PMMisa is hard to find - I’ve gotten most of mine from ebay or transdesign.com. I have Embroidered Emerald too! It was my #1 lemming for a long time until I found one on ebay and I snached it right up! I think UD bruise has more of a strong blue-ish tint than EE which has a stronger green IMO. You have a great day too!
