Look: Springtime Pink & Green

I need new color combination ideas. I can’t wait for MAC Graphic Garden because those will be fun colors to put together. I was thinking about pairing up pink and green for this look. Not bright like the Barbie look; just soft colors, but that aren’t overly blended and muddy. I couldn’t think of regular e/s colors that I wanted to use for this look, so I went with all pigments.
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Fresco Rose PP (base), Apricot Pink Pigment (all over lid up to crease), Golder’s Green Pigment (crease & above crease), Antique Green Pigment (crease), Pink Opal Pigment (highlight), Bobbi Brown Ivy Shimmer Ink (upper lashline), Jealous Kohl Power (waterline), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit mineralized blush + Bobbi Brown Pink Platinum Shimmer Brick
- Lips: Guerlain Candy Shine l/s + YSL Golden Gloss #10

Look: Entremauve Purple

This is a super duper easy look today. It’s kinda bright, and definitely very contrasting with the colors, but when blended well, it looked nice.
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPP (primer), Painterly PP (base), Jardin Aires Pigment (all over lid), Entremauve Pigment (outer lid & crease), Naked Pigment (highlight), Bobbi Brown Violet Shimmer Ink (liner), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit Mineralized blush
- Lips: Guerlain(a sample of the new lipsticks they have…if you want to know which one, let me know and I’ll look it up) + Clé de Peau #2 lipgloss

Look: Smoke in Vegas Casinos

This past weekend we went to Vegas for our end of the season bowling tournament. I got ready for the whole day/night in the morning, and I went for a smokey eyeshadow look. Casinos are usually filled with smoke, so smokey eyes is appropriate right? LOL! I wore a dress out that night - the same one I wore to my students’ graduation. Although I wore just a white t-shirt to bowl in for the morning (which is when I took these pictures). It’s a different look for this dress, and I kinda liked it with my new hair cut. Husband liked it too ;-)

Look: For the Flight Home

I know you’re probably super-duper tired of me forgetting the specific breakdown for my looks lately…I blame my “vacation” which made me unfocused. So I apologize for that! I DO know that I used Expensive Pink in the middle, probably Typographic on the outer lid & crease. On the lips was Guerlain Matte Lipgloss #2. This was the look I did for our long flight back to the mainland where we watched “Confessions of a Shopaholoic” which was great! I’m totally like her…except only with makeup haha! :-)

Look: Some Crazy Lookin’ Pinks

Look: Dark Green Warm Eyes Palette

I’ve really loved the Holiday ’08 palettes from MAC. The lips and eyes were stellar! So here’s another look using the Warm Eyes Palette with the dark green as the all-over-lid color.

Look: Smokey Browns Oh Baby!

FOR DENNY!
This look is completely centered around the Oh Baby lipglass because I was so excited that I found it and wanted to do a look with it. I wore brown and everything! It’s an amazing lipglass color and it has glitter all throughout. I really liked the way this look turned out now that I’ve seen the pictures. Too bad I returned the Holy Smoke e/s, but it was for the best. I’m sure this look can be duped with what I’ve already got…which is a lot :-) I did this look last week, but all the looks I’ll be posting for the next 7 days will be from the island of Kauai in Hawaii! So I’m putting up this post right before I walk down to the beach to get a drink and catch some rays (with SPF on of course!). I really hope I don’t burn. Aloha!

Look: Chantecaille Smokey Eyes

This color gray is buttery soft and a true dark gray. It doesn’t have the blue-ish undertones like my MAC gray shadows do. Here’s a truly smokey look :-) Oh, and sorry about the one pesky hair that’s in all the photos. Try to ignore it hehe.

Look: Other e/s Experiment

I got some different kinds of eyeshadows and decided to put them together and see what came out of it…that’s 5 different brands on my eyes! Wow!
**Edit** I have since returned the Chantecaille Sel and Guerlain Holy Smoke…they were very expensive, and there were other things I wanted to have more, so I compromised with myself by exchanging. They were great shadows and what really stood out was their texture…but they just didn’t give me the same kind of excitement as my new lippies do :-)

Collection: Other Eye Products

I’ve posted all of my MAC shadows, so here is the rest of my eye products. Paintpots, eyeliners, and shadows/eye products from other brands. Oh man…now this means I have to move on to lip products…which will be a very difficult and work intensive endevor because my lip products are spread out in bags and purses etc. :-) Ah well, in the mean time, enjoy my other eye products
