Sorry I haven’t posted all weekend! I went to Long Beach to meet up with my college roommates and catch up. We had a lot of fun, and it was great seeing them.
More pinks - here’s a look with some more pinks, done Fyrinnae Pigment style.

Look: Boudoir Hues Quad

Can’t win ’em all, right? This one came out a little boring IMO…slightly week on the colors, so I put the liner on, but kept it soft by not lining the bottom. It just wasn’t a good or happy morning for me, but here it is. :-)

Look: Expensive Pink with Blue

I know I’ve already mentioned it, but it deserves another…I looooove Expensive Pink eyeshadow! This time I paired it with blues because I was wearing a dark denim type short sleeved jacket for my outfit on Saturday night. I didn’t want to do just blues or just smokey, so I turned to my beloved Exensive Pink and it delivered! :-) I think this is one of my favorite looks in a long time!

Heather’s on Temptalia!!!

Have I shared with you my obsession with all that is Temptalia.com?! I freaking LOVE that site and I check it sooooo many times a day. I aspire to be like Christine and for my site to someday be as wonderful as hers! I seriously don’t know how she has the time to get all of that up…

Look: Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I know, St. Patrick’s Day is almost over, but I had to post my look for today, and I still have another hour and a half (Cali time) to get this up :-) I love greens for shadow! So many possibilities! I went with a lime green, true grass green, and a forest green to sum up this look. Looking back, I wish I had used UDPP for the primer so that it would come out with more of a matte finish for the highlight, but that’s ok…I liked how it came out! Oh, and it looks like I’m wearing white, but that’s just my little sweater over my very green cami!

Look: Expensive Pink & Purple

I have a lot of favorites, but I think Expensive Pink is a color that’s been overlooked for FAR too long! It’s one of my new favorites. I swear it’s the best Veluxe Pearl shadow that MAC has, IMO. The color is duochromed: sorta pink, sorta coral, hints of gold and peach. I LOVE it, and if you don’t have it already, get it!

Look: Spring Colored Pastels

Another spring type look…I know…there were several this week. I’ll have some more deep colors coming next week :-) I really liked the way this one turned out though - kinda pastel rainbow like? I think the Auto-de-blu liner is what made it really come together and not look bland.

Pink must be the theme this week because I’ve used it in almost every look. This look was eh, ok, kinda boring. I think I did it in a hurry, but we need some hurried looks every once in a while, right?

Look: Yellow to Green

Greens are my favorite color to wear…in case you were wondering hehe. I based this look off of a loose Fyrinnae pigment I have called Boytoy (dark green). I ordered some samples from them a long time ago because they’re so cheap - samples at like $3.75 each is a steal! So after I put on the primer and base, I actually started this look with this color, then worked around it to build the fade. As you can see, it’s highly pigmented…really nice color!
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Yaby yellows & greens (base), Nylon (inner lid), Bright Sunshine (middle lid), Swimming (outer & upper lid), Fyrinnae Boytoy (crease), Crystal Avalanche (highlight), Jealous Kohl Power (liner), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara

Look: Platinum Peacock

Going from those peacock feathered eyes of yesterday, I wanted to do something with Platinum Pigment. Platinum is a strange pigment because it’s sooooo finely milled (more than most pigments) that it’s like the consistancy of ash. Just really pure and powdery. So when applied, it’s really like metal on the eyes which is cool. This look might seem a little OTT for some of you, but I put it on for a night out in a dark restaurant. Good times!
For this look I used:
- Eyes: UDPPS (primer), Bare Study PP (base), Platinum Pigment (inner lid), Yaby Black (outer lid), Humid (crease), Climate Blue (outer & upper lid), Vellum (highlight), a touch of Blue Flame (outer lid), UD 24/7 Dime (inner lashlines), Feline Kohl Power (outer lashlines & waterlines), Chanel Exceptionnel mascara
- Cheeks: Chanel Tweed Rose Blush
- Lips: Le Metier de Beaute in Papaye Creme lip cream
